CT5-N - A useful addition
The Kelkheim Jazz Club is known for its concerts, where top-class musicians take to the stage and captivate the audience. However, the clubs special spatial conditions presented a challenge for the sound system: certain areas, especially the side seats, were not acoustically supplied optimally.
To solve this problem, a tailor-made solution was developed in collaboration with Soundware Company GbR that improves the sound experience for all guests. The existing PA system was supplemented by two Solton CT5N. These new speakers were positioned specifically in the side area of the club to illuminate the "blind spots" with sound.
Matze, who is responsible for the technology in the jazz club, is enthusiastic about the new solution:
"The CT5N are used to illuminate the blind spots on the left and right. They are operated in stereo via an amplifier in parallel with the two tops. Works wonderfully!"
Thanks to this targeted expansion, every seat in the club is now supplied with a balanced, clear sound. The low frequencies are not left behind: The double 18" subwoofer delivers the powerful bass that gives live performances the necessary depth and power.
